OpenWeb and OpenBrowse

Hey

I will give you access to the proxy directly :)

Kind regards
MrBEEP

Hey umm... sorry to bother you again, I would also be interested in this since I would also like to put it on my router rather than on each of my computers.

Thanks.

Hey tsu

The only problem with having it setup directly is that there is no load balancing, which means the proxy could become slow during peak periods :(

OpenRouter does automatic load balancing between all our different servers.

Oh ok, it doesnt really matter if it gets slower.
It's just for my family and friends to use more easily since they come and go with their PCs and it will be a bit of a mission to keep disabling the program and enabling it.

does the openbrowse function at full line speed during opentime? ie: I have a 4mb line so will I get 4mbps during opentime?

i dunno whats up with my openbrowse,i run openrouter and get it to configure firefox etc but then i cant even connect to local sites??i have to change the proxy settings back in FF in order to get onto local stuff.

All proxy tests openrouter does return ok, so i dont know whats goin on there.

So Keoma when are you guys moving to the 20mbs like global verge LMAO

Anyone got a notification on from openbrowse login process, about the new 384kbps uncapped for around R500 soon?

Mr.Beep logged a fault for me on Sunday and Monday morning, line speed improved but speed still a little inconsistent.

yeah i saw that message.pretty keen for that, but i hope its not like that 'starts on the 15th' thing they have goin now....although i think that its a bit wishful of me :)

R500 with it being unthrottled over the weekend for us 4mbit guys i hope.
My openbrowse seems to running back to normal today.
Im still going to keep annoying Mr Beep about an afterhour uncapped solution until he says "were working on it" or "sorry can be done"

I purchased an OpenBrowse account at 4:30. It's now 7:30 and no account.
Anyone know how long their average turnaround is? I e-mailed them but I've received no reply.
This is slightly annoying.

Will take upto 8 business hours for openbrowse account (even you pay with CC), this is on their website somewhere.

Their website also lists "24/7 E-Mail support" and 4 hours later, no reply.

Yes, quite a few people experienced email problems where their email sent to support never got through. I use gmail and I alway get a reply.

I am sure someone will respond tonight, if not by email then Mr.Beep (Openweb founder) himself will probably respond on this thread.
