I have been using their uncapped service for many moons now and have only ever had top notch service from Keoma. Whenever I have an issue, it is sorted out quickly and efficiently. I have read some stories of ppl who have had issues, but i just thought i'd mentioned that as things stand, i'm delighted with OW customer service

I'd love to go to uncapped account for 4mb line. What package are you on?

+1 agree fully on the service part...

I remember back when I was with Openweb, I had an issue with the VPN product (10gb for quite cheap, super fast). Then it started having a throughput slower than that of the pigeon in the Pigeon vs Telkom race.

Keoma was quite awesome, fielding my calls even on Sundays. He really went the extra mile to help me and I appreciated it. However for some reason, the problem could not be fixed so off I went!

I really enjoy that personal level of service from an ISP, so go go Openweb!

OpenWeb has their fair share of critics, but I have had nothing but great service and value for money from them.

Chaps,

Had a problem with speeds over the weekend. Couldn't find the error, so i e-mailed Keoma on Sunday morning. Within half an hour he transfered me to a new account, and everything has been flying again. On a sunday!!! Keoma, thanks a million for the excellent service and brilliant account. My brother has cancelled his 3 year old Webstorm account, and will be joining Openweb soon. Thanks again.

What are the fair usage policies? I wanna get rid of Mweb, is Openweb better for gaming? If there are fair usage how much is it

You can change to any backbone you want on Gold.

Being VB, IS, Altech, BCS.

Also have to say that I've had amazing service from Keoma over the past 6 months I've been with Openweb after switching from Mweb.

Ah man that rocks. I'm definitely switching!
Now just to figure out if i'm getting 4mb or 1mb gold :P
Don't really need the speed but i don't wanna end up with bad latency and tbh I've only ever had 4mb dsl.
Appreciate the help!

Personally I think that if openweb were able to reduce their 4mb gold to match mweb's 4mb account, then we would have a clear winner. Openweb would kill its competition in service and performance for the same price. Openweb would be seeing a massive flood of people moving over from mweb.

Package: 1024k Standard Uncapped - Data Account Only. Price: R359 = value for money !

I was shocked to see the speeds I was getting on the weekend and it was during office hours with this account.

In a nut shell. I'm getting my moneys worth for what I'm forking out.

42GB from the first of the month on the Standard Uncapped......

Roll on next month so I can get the gold

Preach it sistah!
I'm torn between the 1mb Gold and 4mb Gold... If I knew how the 1mb performed gaming on euro servers and such I would have an easy choice.
