How do I go about getting one?

I've looked all over the OpenWeb site to no avail and have posted in their forum to no avail. I've probably missed it a million times over, but if someone could please provide me with a link i would be very grateful.
 
I think the registrations threads are closed atm. I want one too, but we'll prolly have to wait for the next one. :)
 
Hey Friends

From 1 May, to 15 May we will be opening the server up anonymously.

This means you wouldn't need to register in order to get hold of an account.

We will test it for this time period, and if it works, we will do it again 1 June to 15 June.

Just a quick question, will this "free"? anonymous proxy be on the same line / sharing the bandwidth with those who actually pay for an openweb proxy? Cause ill be super pissed off if i find it any slower...

Will this negatively impact the service of those of us who have paid?
 
what is it??

What exactly is the openweb free proxy account...i am currently signed up for the 3G/30G account with 192k proxy for R229

Dont you mean the 2gig/30?? That is what i am paying R229 for...

If I'm not mistaken (and i could well be as experience has taught me), they have always had free proxy access, think it was called openbrowse. But that they are now going to limit this free access as not to cause problems with the paying customers.

This free service will now only run from the 1-15th of every month, after that you will have to pay if you want to use it .

Like i said i could be wrong
 
the thing is then, im paying for proxy for the whole month, surely if its free till the 15th then i should be getting 50% off?

My concern is Mr Beep said "we will be opening the server up anonymously".

Now if my account settings are anything to go by the free server used to be a different address than the pay one. Will opening up the paid server for everyone have a detrimental affect?

I'm reluctant to pay at the beginning of the month until know.

Think you will get a lot more answers than drumming on the table with your fingers and posting "still waiting" every five minutes
