Wait...wait I have the answer its : [email protected] or wait wait and even better answer : 076 512 56 59

Think you will get a lot more answers than drumming on the table with your fingers and posting "still waiting" every five minutes
Thanks - let us know what he says.

Well spoke to the helpdesk over at openweb. This free proxy will run of a totally different server and will have no impact what so ever on the people that are paying for their proxy, and its only available for 15days a month (think its mostly for unshaped connections)

Cool - and thanks for the info :)

I guess we've just become accustomed to Mr Beep's active presence on the forum.

No problem, I remember in the beginning when i just signed up, I also phoned him about this, wanting to know why I have to pay for proxy access and some people use it for free. So he said, its basically an unshaped access and people use their cap for it, so if you are with saix and being shaped to death you can use it.

Wonder how well it works with uunet.

Different servers, ok. But im pretty sure they are connected to the same damn line and that line has a certain amount of bandwidth available. I dont care about the CPU usage, I care about my speeds of international browsing.

Well it has not affected you so far has it? It's been running since openweeb started (long before 1st november 2005), they started out by giving free proxy access

Well havent been able to open google up faster than a few mins, actually wait, it just times out

Hey Friends,

I do apologise for my delayed reply, but I am currently on holiday, and havent been checking emails and forum much. Need to relax for once.

Anyways, the Unshaping Server is totally seperate from OpenBrowse, as it runs off a 1gb/s backbone in the USA.

It is for folks that would like their line unshaped - aka SAIX.

The Paid Users, and Free users will be running off two different servers, to keep speeds top class.

Kind regards
MrBEEP
