Hi

Is anybody else experiencing terrible internet speeds on OpenWeb 10mbps home uncapped since about 12:30 this afternoon.

Pings to local websites also have 75% timeout.

Pinging co.za [206.223.136.173] with 32 bytes of data:

OP please schedule a cancellation of your account with them asap if you want to remain sane. I did. There are plenty of alternatives, and any other alternative is better than opencrap

Good luck cancelling with Opencrap. These jokers require a full calendar month's notice to cancel, in other words, if you cancel on 3 May, your account will only be terminated on 30 June! Which means you will still be liable to pay for another month.
 
Well, I signed up for a capped account with openweb.

To my surprise, The accounts are limited to 10mbps speeds, on my 40 meg line, I get 9,39mbps download speed on speedtest.

They are complete ****ing crooks, all they do is steal peoples money. No two ways about it. Since WHEN does a CAPPED UNSHAPED account get limited to 10mbps ????

Just contact the other person(s) you are sharing with and ask them nicely to just tone it down a little?
