Hey Friends,

Herewith our final pricing for OpenISP's ADSL Packages. These packages are directly from Internet Solutions, and include access to our Free Socks and Proxy Server. This particlular server does not allow downloads after capped, but high speed downloads whilst still in your International Capping Allowance. We will be announcing our new product, OpenBROWSE tomorrow, that will allow international access after capped, tomorrow.

Raw ADSL Accounts, without Local Proxy Access:
2GB including 30GB Local Cap: R169 per month
3GB including 30GB Local Cap: R199 per month
5GB including 30GB Local Cap: R355 per month
10GB including 30GB Local Cap: R699 per month

These accounts offer throttled international access after capped, and unshaped full speed local access.

MrBEEP, would we be able to test these accounts before using them? like clipse used to hand out 10MB test accounts and stuff like that.

reason i ask is specifically for gaming. or maybe somebody who already uses these accounts could report back with the results? i gather you use IS bandwidth?

Good job MrBeep. I am on w\webafrica 30gb Special now but comes November 1 I will get an account from OpenWEB

None whatsoever!! :) OpenWeb doesn't believe in that nonsense! How much can it cost to flick a switch? Oh my....I could break a nail! Damn....lol

Anyone that charges an activation fee is just greedy!

Lets say I take the 2-gig option. Once I reach my 2-gig international cap does it mean no high speed downloading from international and local or just international? 30Gigs local i can still expect high speed downloading?
Soz for the question but I am shopping around at the moment and I just need clarity :)
 
Hey Jarrod,

International is throttled to a slow speed once capped.

Local always stays at full speed, and unshaped. SO Local speeds are not affected.

No offence to you Mr Beep. 3GB international, 30Gig Local - What's the point!. There is no hope in hell that i would download 30Gigs of local nonsence.
 
Combined with our new product OpenBROWSE, that 30GB will be converted into international again. But its better than SAIX, that cuts you off after 3GB!?
 
heh.. there is a point! most 'maximum utilisers' get their stuff from local torrent/ftp/p2p..
