To Openweb. It was recently reported here that your 1024 gold package costs R419 per month. On your website you are also running a special for the same price. However, when I look at the product page for your gold package it says that the price is R398. So how can you have a promo at R419 but the normal price is R398. I don't understand. Also, on you website it says that the gold plus package is R449 per month. And according to the article you get upgraded from gold to gold plus for free. So does this mean that when you get the R389 package you are upgraded to the R449 package for free. Please clarify.

Also I can't any info on your website about value adds such as email address, fax to email, etc.

Also when you click on the signup button you are expected to enter your banking details over a normal http connection. No https.

Can someone from openweb please give some clarification?

I would also like to know as this was not answered. If I was on gold 1024 how would I know if I was upgraded to the gold 1024 plus? This wasn’t explained in the answer by MrBeep.

It is a lower contention ratio, thus during times of trouble (Seacom failures and the like) you will be in the pound seat.

Thanks for the answer, and not trying to be funny, but you have still not explained how I would know if I was on the gold plus. Currently I'm on gold 1024, but I haven't hear or gotten any email saying that I was moved into the plus group?

I have been spending alot of time mailing for support(Thanks helped alot I have to say), best support I have ever gotten from an ISP(not sarcastic now)
