Something is wrong I am getting a latency between 106m/s and 156m/s (384 line) with my openweb account. With my Afrihost account I am getting 68m/s.
 
Definitely something wrong. Getting local latency of 140+ and international of 430+
Until a few minutes ago I was getting about 400b/s on direct downloads! At the moment it isn't downloading at all. Torrent speeds seem to go up to about 8kbs
I'm on the IS backbone

Yup. My local ping is weird.... getting 31ms to sgs, but 139ms to wage - it's usually 60-80ms for me.

Because I'm also on OW standard, and I cant even open speedtest page atm, been trying for the last 20 mins, and my gmail keeps timing out, even in basic html mode.

My internet works, it's just slow now.
 
Please do international speed tests. Local means nothing when all your downloads are international.

In my case it's moreover local that's the problem. My local pings are (other than Gauteng) twice the normal latency. Intl pings to Europe are 320-odd atm which is fine for me.
 
my speeds atm are as following:
torrents - 0.4 KB/s
IS FTP 25-30 KB/s
Other ftp & http 2-8 KB/s

As I mentioned before, I am on 384 standard.
Can anyone confirm that these are normal speeds for daytime on this type of acc?

OW Std accounts are also under that AUP. OW just doesn't tell you beforehand.

I'm definitely not in the top20% yet.... 1) a heck of a lot of people suddenly got the issue, 2)my latency has been up and down all day, but I'm still getting linespeed and 3)I haven't downloaded all that much this month.
 
Any problems with Gold VB? Browsing is next to impossible, almost all pages time out, youtube videos does not buffer...

Ive been watching the through put, seems it doesnt go above 80kbps which is pretty slow
