I sent a mail to find out if anything was wrong this morning. At 11 I got a reply saying that there is a fault and that engineers are looking for the problem. Thats the last update I've heard. Anyone else have some info on this?

Are OW Gold accounts also effected by the IS 20% thing?
DNS change make no difference. Youtube videos going at about 40kbps. Kind of riduculous waiting an hour for a 5min video on 240p to finish buffering...
This is why I love VB on 4mb Gold: http://www.speedtest.net/result/1258821553.png![]()
Why don't you take that demo after hours package, run it from 7pm tonight till 7am tomorrow morning and compare the results? I assume you still got downloads queued for tonight?Makes one of usI can't even get to speedtest.net... I see last night I averaged between 100 and 200 each hour...

Sweet!!! Only reason I'm pushing it is cause I've seen how you been suffering with your ISP's and performance more or less since Mweb's uncapped packages broke into the market. I was also highly frustrated but then Telkom gave me a 10mb line and I went 50gb capped afrihost gold and openweb after hours uncapped, R1759 all in and I never see anything less than 800kBps. It's just superb....hopefully will be finished for awhile... want to wait to the weekend to do a demo on the afterhours...so I have decent day and night time to play with boxee.... I'm happy with the 200KB/s - but its a far cry from the 400KB/s I used to get... not to happy with the 50KBs though![]()
Don't do torrents much if I can help it. They volatile at the best of times but I've seen torrents come down at an average speed of 850kBps before so I would have to say they unshaped yes.The afterhours one - is that also unshaped on torrents? Because obviously torrents are a no go on VB.
