Zenbaas - I reset your port, you need to switch off your router for 30 minutes then back on. If that doesn't work, email me please.

Mrbeep is there an issue with vb? NNtp running at 10 sadly, bouncing up and down between 5 and 100 most in the low teens.

I have reset my router to no avail today.

I replied to the mail - I can't change the username/password on the router as I'm in Johannesburg till next week and don't want the risk of loosing the connection completely.
(edit: I see the mail is still stuck as sending on my cell)

I also noticed that the account you sent is back on IS - which we tried last week and it performed even worse? As always - I only use nntp and web for browsing... Is there a problem with VB that I'm continually being switched back to IS?

There are no problems on my side, VB is running like a boss. Getting 430kb/s - 485kb/s on news server downloads. :)

Killa, I also had that problem about a week ago. Try switching to non-SSL if you are downloading via a news server.

In less than a day SSL ran full speed again, however, I'm also downloading SSL right now at the speeds that I indicated in the sentence above :D
 
Yup going full speed ahead, 300 limited by me so i can do other internet stuffs :D but if i untick the limiter it goes at 415 w00t w00t :D.

I will try switch away from ssl when it happens again, although i am not really that worried unless it lasts for days but a few hours of slowness is all good. At least i know when it's slow there is an issue and it is not being limited or throttled :D.

I will never move from VB though, it's way too good :D. Stone do you game battlefield on VB? I have not tried it but does it work well?
 
Also now getting only 60 - 80kb/s. I had a good week at least but still it's sunday should we not be able to get a bit more outof the 4m gold uncapped? Pfft the gremlins that are using my account get off it now! Lol.
 
My OW Gold (VB) is churning like a hamster's wheel.

Getting dialup speed this morning. It won't go past 8kb/s on http or news servers. The average speed I got last night after 10 was also pretty bad at around 50kb/s.

4m gold uncapped on IS backbone. Im having problems browsing and doing email as well. Anyone else having problems today?
 
My VB Gold is certainly faring 100s this morning. Or well almost 100s. I have to run two FTP connections at a time to get the max out of my 384.
 
Is it just me or did the "Is Openweb Worth It?" thread get deleted? If it did, it wouldn't surprise as it had the makings of a good flame war :D
