Cool, o i can find something for sure, could easily load up 40-100gb of hd porn. So drop me a mail if you want to check it out, you may find it is just astraweb that is slow and newsdemon is only 9.99 a month. SSL port 80 and 30gb free storage which is awesome.
 
I have a backup account with some block based provider - I must check how that's doing performance wise.
 
I had to be up at 4:30am this morning to take my gf to the airport. I decided to try start a d/l as I had been previously unable to. I started the d/l from a HTTP and it went at 200 bytes/s. I understand that things are throttled during the day but surely this is a little ridiculous. I really have no choice but to change ISP's, if apparently I am throttled 24 hours/day, even on HTTP.
 
I keep dreaming of getting a VB account that will work as well as it does for StoneCold. Have tried a couple of times but it just did not work out for me... I did get close to full speed all the time on news servers but when I tried gaming the latencies were horrible. May have been bad luck I don't know.

I find the nntp download speeds on VB far superior to the other backbones... but the browsing/streaming not as good... now that I'm on the IS backbone, its the reverse... downloading is terrible but browsing is snappy.

Yea i think finding an uncapped provider to satisfy all our needs may be difficult hey, i am happy with full speed downloads and buying a 5-10gb for gaming. Most important thing for me with my gold account is downloading.

I cannot wait for bf 3 cause on this vb account i get 10ms to saix

does not mean you will get it in game :P

i can ping wage for 13ms, not the hell i will get 13ms in bc2, best is 60ms :P

Ya we will have to wait and see but i am hopeful, in bf 2 i could ping saix at 10ms and get 8 in game. Odd :D. The lowest ping in bf 2 was 7 but normally it was 15 or so. You might find perhaps some wage servers are hosted in different area's around the country hahahaha although i dunno about that one.
 
ya crysis 2 i also get my real ping like 9ms etc, i really don't know how bc2 pings is that bad, its the worse ping in any game i own :P

hope bf3 pings ain't that bad :P
 
I think bfbc2 is kinda busted because it was not made for the pc so perhaps the makers expected bad pings so it couldn't handle awesome pings.

Bf3 was made for the pc so i am sure the bfbc2 shyte will be gone, at least i hope or bf 3 will just collect dust. I also bf 3 is as good as bf 2 was, i could play the same maps over and over and not get bored with bfbc2 i get bored so fast.

I cannot wait to play the bf 2 maps on bf 3 :D
 
I think my gold package is not a normal one. I can barely do work during the day (emails) and at about 5pm it goes up to give me approx 100kbps and then full speed from exactly 12pm to 7am. This is confirmed also by netlimiter

Exactly what I have... what's the difference between this and standard Is?

Same this side. Struggled to open GMAIL. After 5pm everything starts to open up. I get the download shaping during the day, but emails and browsing is a struggle on IS.
