Of course SAIX will be full speed. Do you really think Telkom will not give preference to their own network?

It's really odd, there appears to be a flux capacitor or something broken on VB's side, because my speeds have been up and down. Here's hoping VB can sort the crap out pretty soon, VB in my book, has given me the best bang for my buck uncapped wise the past year. I know a lot of you (especially xrapidx) will not agree with that statement.

Really odd that for some us, the performance is great and for others, not so great. Don't know if anyone here watches WWE, but if anyone follows WWE Raw (like I do ;) ) this whole situation is what R-Truth would call a conspiracy ! :D
 
Some users say their accounts work while others have said Mr Beep have given them different VB accounts. I dunno but maybe there is a knock on effect from the issues that they earlier today are still affecting other accounts

There are however no general issues at the moment, and tests from our side show some great speeds.

We are aware of a few regional Telkom faults that are currently open, and alot of issues caused by the bad weather today. These should be sorted by tomorrow.
 
My openweb uncapped account is getting 4 kb/s . Opened more than one ticket and they say everything is fine.

DL's work fine on other ISP. I did email [email protected] thou.

Gave up and cancelled. Today no authentication. Prepaid for October. <sigh>

A friend of mine on Mweb 4Mb cries himself to sleep at night. He regularly moans about not being able to get anything done during the day.
 
Trust me that is so true! I used to be on MSuck, and you basically have no net during the day until midnight!

Funnily enough I've also been finding extra slowness this past week. I thought it was maybe seacom problems so we had to get shaped more but it's still there. Torrents barely went over 150kbps last night. When I left this morning they were at 50kbps.

My average usage for the past 6 months is around 130gigs.

So sigh.

I don't use a lot, but when I do I want stuff to get done.
