Any slow speeds today are user specific, as the network is running really well.

something is very wrong. its well after midnight, and yet i'm still getting abysmal speeds on Astraweb ?? in the region of 25kb/s on my 4 meg line. normally the line picks up nicely after midnight.
 
Well there is a brick wall at 25k/s on my line as well, 384k.

HTTP goes at 32, news at 25k/s.

Have sent an e-mail.

There was a Telkom outage last night affecting ALL round access. All was restored around 5 minutes ago.

I do apologize for the Telkom fault!

And that's why I support Openweb. E-mail on a Sunday morning, and 10 minutes later, a loan account giving full speeds is issued until the speed issue is resolved.

are the accounts shaped during daylight hours on sundays too?? im only getting 25kb on my 4 meg line right now :-(

I agree, I am a mweb subscriber and we are experiencing HARSH downloads on Astraweb etc, but emailed openweb this morning to get a test account to try them out, what happened, got a reply within 10minutes with the account and the speeds are FAB!!!

I emailed mweb regarding the speed issue the same time and till now, no reply!!!

That is service OpenWEB!!!!

So, I am moving to openweb gold at the end of the month!!! Can't wait!!!
 
what speeds do you guys get during the day (peak times), on the silver and gold packages (4meg line and account)
 
Speed is rubbish again. Was working fine till 9am when I went out. Already emailed Keoma and see.
 
Hey Friends,

Just had a report of another Telkom cable fault that occurred 5 minutes ago.

Seems like the Telkom network is falling apart just before the World Cup. Telkom egineers are attending!

yep... back to poo speeds.
was good while it lasted, atleast we know IS are sorting out their side
 
Is the Telkom line still giving problems, my speed is about half normal speed since yesterday?
