Don't think Openweb has one. On the IS network news.is.co.za does work for me.. intermittently that is. Does have a lot of connection problems. If you have any intent of getting more than a few hundred MB a day without some corruption (PARs essential) then I wouldn't bother though.

Saix's server works much better for me using my 10GB local from Telkom.

I'm just saying it should be a general thing... "tired of crappy uncapped? Here, try this Gold uncapped trial".

Day two and still going strong. Full line speed all the time, youtube works and downloads crank down. Sitting at 4.14 gb transfer for the last 2 1/2 days. Not too shabby.

btw, is there somewhere I can check usage if my username ends in @dsl-bcsnet.co.za?

Anyone having problems connecting or accessing their email on mail.openweb.co.za ? I can't access my email at the moment. :(

EDIT: Nevermind its working again, seem to have rectified itself. :)

I just cant seem to have a stable connection for 2 days i have talked to telkom and they came and tested my line etc everything is fine with them so i had 2 pay for the 2 call outs now,why this sucks i dont know but i am getting tired of not having what i am paying for now,and each week i cant switch to a new acc so what the use then and for instance hardly Download 200gig a month,here is as things is now http://www.speedtest.net/result/998870281.png mr beep please sort this out asap i some business things i must download and the speed is crawling

other wise when line is running i am as happy as a chappy but not now

So any word, is there a trail for openweb uncapped? Just cancelled mweb, looking for a new ISP and I am considering the 4mb gold uncapped.

Yet when I run the Neotel speedtest I get 4.5mb/s, looks like the IS peering or test servers are stuffed again. Downstorm is delivering around 3.9mb/s at the moment.

For folks using the BCS network, there is currently a Telkom IPCONNECT fault causing intermittant connectivity.

Telkom engineers are attending. I do apologize for the inconvenience!

The connectivity problem on the BCS network was resolved last night. However, this morning, another Telkom IPCONNECT fault caused total connectivity blackout for folks on the network.

Engineers are attending urgently. Updates will be posted here and on our main page.

Have no idea what Telkom is doing, my exchange was also fubar yesterday (packet loss, high pings) but seems fine now.

Big-up to Openweb on the Gold accounts, third month and I'm still happy :)
 
To the guys with 384 gold uncapped shaped accounts. What speeds are you getting on torrents?
