Openweb Uncapped Feedback

For me over the weekend HTTP has been great (including live streaming)

NS has been reasonable in the high 200s and popping into the 300s. Certainly not the great levels seen last year, But I'll probably wait until things settle down with these Telkom issues.

I'm sorry, but I don't agree with your statement. Openweb gold is for gaming as well. I'm on the gold VB package myself and I play all my online games with no problems, plus I have a stable ping as well.
+1. I game PS3 COD:BO. On international I have an exceptional experience. Even better and more stable than my capped gaming (backup account). That just keeps rolling over.
Today has been better than for most days.

HTTP at least running full speed.

Usenet only topping out around the 250kB/s mark.

For the premium I am paying can't say I am satisfied. This is the kind of performance I would expect from MWeb. Thinking if going back there cause at least for how much I'll be paying it wont be totally disappointing.

MWEB is nowhere, repeat, NOWHERE, close to Openweb. You can't class the 2 in the same sentence. MY OW VB Account Trumps ANY Mweb account!

If my Usenet downloads were going any faster than 10kB/s I might be inclined to agree that OW Gold is nothing like MWeb

Then go to Mweb. More bandwidth for me!

I am, btw, getting full speed on my news server download as we speak on OW Gold. I wouldn't exchange my Gold for the world!

which news server if i may ask?

cause i can also just fire up port 8080 ssl and get full speed when i want to with mweb, was just wondering, thats good if using normal ssl ports.

And then mweb bans you for abuse :(

The funniest thing is, people complain about Mweb, but still use them. I dont get that!

Been getting really crappy speeds all week, I think Openweb is for all the astraweb guys and thats about it... Struggle to get more than 100K unless its weekend...

Hey OtakuD,

Please mail me, and include your MyADSL nickname, so that I can recall the history. I will find a solution that fits your needs.

Same here, but Astraweb been running just as slow. There must be some kind of throttling going on...

Very weird, getting between 100KB/s to 150KB/s on news server, but speed test is 0.19Mb/s - weird.

Hi Timothy,

Are you still having a problem? There were some exchange issues yesterday that could've caused this fault.

However, if your problem continues, please email me.
