Haven't gotten any reply from openweb,would like to know how long it takes take activate the account,payed yesterday and they said admin got the proof of payment.

Did you check your spam folder?

I emailed Keoma about the absence of my details too until i saw it in the spam folder within gmail itself and not my regular thunderbird app.:o
 
I checked thanx for the post,nothing in there ,if I knew how long to wait it would be better.
They said two days but it never took that long before.sent atleast 4 mails to openweb today and had no reply.tommorow is saturday so they won't be any help.
 
is anybody else experiencing terribly slow speeds on 4 meg uncapped OW account ?
 
is there any alternate contact address for Openweb ? besides the ceo and admin email addy's ?

Yes ! I am back on my Mweb account as the openweb account leaves me with a red light on the router.

I did take some screen shots just for the record.

Not a happy camper at the moment .

Going like a boeing here! OW Gold IS! Mweb is like a 5 years olds wet dream compared to this account!
 
Thanks for the speedy response MrBeep to my email, and the feed back about the Radius server fault earlier this morning.
 
Just purchased a 1 meg gold account, and I must say I am incredibly disappointed. My download speed is worse than upload. However, I don't know if this is caused by openweb or by the "upgrade" that telkom did with my exchange.



Also can someone help me out with all these backbone things. For instance my username looks like this: [email protected]

Now if I wanted to change backbone, will i just change the @vb to @IS, and if so what are all the backbones I can choose from?.
 
guys,
i bought the R19/GB option, once off, from openweb to test it, but speeds are much less than i expected.
i have a 6mb/s line and my speed on this account is only 260kb/s, less than half my potential! On Mweb uncapped I average nearly 500 kb/s.

i thought this was not shaped.
 
Not happy either.:(
I cannot even submit an ad on gumtree or send an email with attachments as my connection keeps timing out and normal browsing is the slowest i have ever encountered since being on ASDL.
The BCS backbone is terribly erratic/and 85% dog slow and its been this way since the beginning of the month.
P2P being shaped is one thing but this is just all-round sucky and not worth R318.





Im think im going to email MRBEEP now....

Can someone pleease explain to me how to change backbones and what backbones are there.
 
I thought there was a way you could change it, by changing the @ or something (which is one of the advantages of a gold account).
 
My 4mb uncapped gets on speedtest.net a whole of 0.10mbps download something is very wrong here, any help ,have sent email to ceo , waiting for reply
