Meh.... Can't open websites now. Kalahari.net, Takealot.com.... I can't even open MyBB. I can navigate inside of it, but I can't open a new site.

This is not normal. Please mail me with a tracert so that we can resolve this.

I would suspect your exchange or similar, as I have all networks on test and they are running very fast

Seacom cable

Does anyone know when the Seacom cable repairs will be completed?
 
I just wish VB would be a bit faster on NNTP. After 12 and only getting 200kb/s. The shaping is a bit bad. One would expect to get full speed at this time of night.

Can your other accounts get full speed? I don't find there is any shaping regarding nntp.
 
I had Openweb ISP related issues. The other ISP accounts worked fine(I informed them of this in the email). So it had to be an issue on their end.

The responses from support are unacceptable. They implied that the adsl line was down and there was no issue with the Openweb connectivity. They also queried me as to whether the account was up to date. It is a debit order and they should check the status of the account internally rather than wasting my time.

Openweb support staff need more training. These specific issues should not arise.

I would not be recommending them again.

what network do you manage that has 50000 users?

Shame you will be making people think openweb is not good when it's not the truth but you go boy!!!

You should post it on the interwebs that has 5000000K users

Yep, tested with a saix account and it got to full speed within seconds and stayed that way - 410kb/s.

This morning VB seems a bit better.
 
Another troll crawling out of the woodwork. LOL 50k users on a network, that you, with your lousy 58 posts are the manager of! HAHAHAHAHA!! Killa, the funniest thing is, he probably tried to put that network on a RR219 384k account from OW, and then complained the speed is slow! HAHAHAHAH!!

You go and post to your hearts content love.

international sites aren't opening, http downloads at lower than 2kbps. My VB account was fast until the password change on Friday, now its just so damn slow. I love openweb's customer service, but I just not getting any decent speeds now. Thinking of changing. Dialup was slow, but at least it was consistent. This is driving me NUTS!!!!!! Come on Openweb!!!!! Oh wait, I forgot, I seem to be wasting my breath. Good service is only as good as the result you get from it.
