OpenWeb Unshaping Socks Server Back!

Hey Friends

I am glad to announce that the OpenWeb Unshaping Socks Server is back!

We are eperimenting with it at the moment. Basically, what it does is, it allows users with International Caps to unshape their P2P and torrent downloads, by routing their applications through the server.

It is a free service offered by OpenWeb, currently under experiment.

Just a heads up that there is something wrong with the sending of e-mail from the Openlabs registration page. I tried registering under two different e-mail addresses, but the activation e-mail just does not show up. I checked the spam folders as well to be sure. Re-requesting it does not work either.

I'm desperately looking for something that will make my eve pings come down from the current 1200ms that im getting now.

Its temporarily on hold due to an issue with one of our experiments.

i'm currently still using the proxy settings, does this mean its actually not working - it has been a little slower than usual lately!... ?

LabAnimal, try using whatever you are without the proxy and see. But the proxy has been dead for some time now.
