Opera sings a fine tune

I like Opera, but it's giving me more and more errors lately, so I don't use it. ;)
 
Opera mini + vbulletin = not for the faint-hearted
 
im operating with opera mini. thats how i visit this site on the move. its opera v4.0 but the previous version was more nicer because i could download protected pics with it from flickr and stuff.
 
Why do I think the nickname kkkurupt is a play on KKK and corrupt? I can see more flava in the News section soon:P
 
I use Opera Mobile. I would switch to mini, but i make use of the load cached only images setting to save on bandwidth. With Opera mobile you can then select individual images to load if you wanted too. Opera Mini, just doesnt have that flexibility.

Have just loaded opera 9.5, but it and coincidently firefox no longer work (as of about 3 weeks ago), for some reason only IE is authenticating with the proxy server at work. The guy next to me has no issue with Firefox or opera authenticating. If any of you peeps have any ideas how to resolve, please let me know.
 
What held Opera back for years was its original ad-supported business model, which has now ended. So even though it is now free and clear, it will probably continue to suffer from its niche image.

Which is a great shame, because if you want a browser which is quick, clean and as compliant with internet standards as you're going to get, Opera's your guy. And there's one glorious feature Opera-goers have cherished for years: the one-click button ability to toggle images (and thus ad material) off or on, or to only let cached images load; great for keeping your data bundle on a diet, or when you've got a slow connection, so when all you want is the facts and nothing but the facts, damn but Opera's fast! And cheap on data....

Toggling pop-ups is also a one-click affair, and having your nine favourite sites on speed-dial buttons is just a joy. Oh, and did I mention it's not a bad little all-in-one e-mail client too?

Okay, where do I collect my commission from the Swedish developers please? :-)

For the firefox guys that want that "one-click button ability to toggle images", check out the firefox plugin called imglikeopera - works great, you can also setup filters to let all images load for certain sites if you want.

There's the reason why I stick with FF. No matter what cool stuff Opera comes up with, ff developers copy it within a week, improve it, and release it as an add-on.

Factor in the hundreds of other, original add-ons for the Fox, and you have no real reason to switch away from it.
 
I use Opera the most out the 3 browsers:). Installed 9.5 today and love the new style:).

Firefox may have numerous add-ons but it is nowhere near as lightweight as Opera for the features provided.

It's Ok. Still prefer FF
 
I've been using opera for the past 3 years or so and the new 9.50 version is the best yet! Best browser for using as little data as possible imho.
 
Opera user since the early days, when you had to pay (or just accepted the ads), needless to say i had no ads as a quick search on P2P came up with the solution.

Yep, its great.
 
I like Opera and use it on occasion, but still prefer Firefox. I've had 9.5 crash a couple of times when exiting for some reason.

Yes... I have moved back to opera after using safari for a few months and this is the feature I miss the most, there was a plugin for firefox but not as good as opera's.

I'm very much happy with Opera on my mac but will keep Firefox as my PC browser. :)
