im so tired of xbox, they shud just recall all and give us retail systems
 
next rrod goes to maestro less stress, cost a few bucks but atleast will not take 3 months
 
ok my brother just phoned me and said while he was playing the lights flashed red for a second and then went back to green is this something to worry about or not. Im not sure if it is the old model or a newer one but the manufacture date was Aug last year (if that helps at all)

Jeppee...seems that we might have units from the same manufacturing batch.
My replacement is a retail unit, brand new out of the box...not sure about yours, does it seem like a new unit, or do you think it has been refurbished?

they replacing my console, confirmed console before sending as falcon, as had, played the nice card like u sed helped allot now they just apologizing and being very nice, they sending to me monday as urgent :) with mfr date 2008 late retail unit, not even refurbed hehehe
 
....niiice...now I'm hoping mine packs up in a year, then I might get a Jasper warranty replacement. Muhahahaha

Thats a life lesson for you, you have to learn when to change the mode from agressive/dominating to humble and apologetic, when I saw in your posted mail that John is irritated/desperate and at the point of giving up I realised Now is the time therefore my advise, else he could/would have just brushed you aside as a whimp and left you to the system.

Glad you are sorted now.
 
...sometimes a little bit of flirting with the sales lady also helps.... ;)
