[Opinion] Oh Cape Town, "Using my white privilege"

Not a chance.
All ppl do now is discuss how racist everyone is.
Everyone and everything is racist now, it makes no difference if it is or isn't.

Less entitlement and more creation of a better country is what we should all strive for.

Funny how it's always the entitled calling for less entitlement. And unless you want a violent revolution, racism and racial tension unfortunately needs to be dealt with.

I take note that new pet names definitely do not change a pet tiger's spots! Same chit under false pretences abound!

No, you didn't encounter it at all.

You read about a racist encounter that was APPARENTLY experienced by someone you don't know.

Oh really, you're going to argue with me over semantics?
Fine then, I only post about about the racism I come across either personally or in the media. It's easy to get me to stop posting about racism in CT - people must just stop friggin being racist here and I'll have nothing to post. Easy...

In my humble opinion....white people never seem to see racism. Black, coloured and Indians seems to see it easier. Wonder why?

So basically you go hunting for racist article and post them then? Even if they're complete fabrications with no basis in reality, or have no verifiable facts to back them up?

Well I left JHB because I found it intolerable... perhaps you should do the same for CT.

I don't have to hunt for articles about racism in Cape Town, they're so common I just stumble across them every day.

Just as a btw, most of them aren't article, they're opinion pieces. Very different type of writing.

How am I entitled?
I have worked since I was 14 yrs old.
I worked to pay for my studies, worked for a salary and worked worked worked for everything else.

So, it's more about white fear than it is white guilt for you?

so you encountered the incident as per the thread title ??
thought not, more bull**** as usual.

such a bitter, twisted & miserable individual you are
you seem to contribute very little to this forum aside your obsession with race.

get over it
the rest of the country is moving forward, nobody needs someone like you to continually pull scabs of wounds that are trying to heal.

I dont even want to start listing all the "black priviledges" that there are in this country for being black, some black chic didnt get a booking at a restuarant, cry me a river who gives a damn.
