If you are planning to install the preview (or current beta) be aware that Little Snitch and iStat Menus do not work. Everything else (including VMWare Fusion Pro), Office 2016 etc works perfectly fine. Just remember that it's time to move off Java 6 if you are still running it (JDK 8 works fine).

Biggest annoyance in the beta: Mail client is still broken and Apple somehow screwed up the resizing of the Mailbox pane (i.e. you can not resize it). Otherwise, nothing noteworthy - I don't see the speed improvements on the the Retina MacPro.
