I see that Apple just released 10.8.4 for Mountain Lion. The blurb goes...

  • Compatibility improvements when connecting to certain enterprise Wi-Fi networks
  • Microsoft Exchange compatibility improvements in Calendar
  • A fix for an issue that prevented FaceTime calls to non-U.S. phone numbers
  • A fix for an issue that may prevent scheduled sleep after using Boot Camp
  • Improved VoiceOver compatibility with text in PDF documents
  • Includes Safari 6.0.5

The last two updates I did through the App Store and the downloads failed at the 11th hour... Well, actually 11 hours 59 minutes and 58 seconds so I thought I'd post the direct download links here.

The update at http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1658?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
The combo update at http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1659?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

I always go for the combo updates so if I ever need to reinstall, I don't have to waste time on AppStore each time.

Apple update has never taken more than 10 minutes for my MacBook

Hehehe... Not literally 11 hours, I meant the updates tend to fail at 799,98megs of a 800meg download.

Use a download manager. Download the combo. Simple as that. I've stop and restarted my download multiple times without a problem. I also checked the SHA1 to verify if there are no problems with the download

That was the reason for me starting this thread... To point out the direct download links... Oh and SpeedDownload FTW. :D

Thanks Greg. It hasn't shown up in my App Store as an update yet (still on 10.8.3), so I'll just go ahead and use your links!

Hope this fixes some more of the annoying wifi issues on the Macbook Pro. That first line indicates that at least something regarding wi-fi has been fixed.
