This will take you to the cultural roots. Us Boertjies are mostly a Dutch-French-German mix - potent and highly desireable won't you say? Our culture flows from this mix.

Point I'm trying to make is this.

You are where u come from. Our fore fathers built this land me added crops to the land. We faught to keep this country from the English. O ja and the Zulu's helped.

Culture is things like "Boere" Sport days, Jukskei, Rugby, Farming, Hunting, Fishing,Braai and the make of a fire just to sit around it and loving the out doors. Drinking Brandy having fun, dancing.

Then u get your heritage/History.

That is the things like the Groot trek, Voortrekker Monument, Pretoria, The beautifull Free-state this is the base of the Afrikaner/Boer Heritage

Most of this is in relation to the "Groot Trek"

That is where the Afrikaner boer was born

The Voortrekker monument was full of guys with big mustaches and tanks and guns.... We all had our own ways of socialising, indian and their wedding the blacks and their Sunday boozing in the park... thats not heritage its a social thing.

Not so. The Americans saved the Brits - and thus won the war for them. And who makes up the Americans ... French, Dutch, Germans, Irish and the few sensible Englishmen at the time

Wrong. The Brits defeated the Germans in the battle of Britain before the Americans joined the war. Officially anyway.

Okay the Americans helped win the war but America was made up of more Brits than French, Dutch, Germans and the Irish IIRC.
