The last week or so we've had around 3 cell outages (not due to power failures), where to phone just says "No service". These normally last anything from a few hours for the shortest one, to around 12+ hours over the weekend. Today it took around 11 hours for service to be restored. 
It seems this affects both Vodacom and MTN, so my guess is that there's something wrong with the actual tower. Did anyone else experience outages? If not then it's definitely a tower issue.
Does anyone know a number where you can report problems like this to Vodacom? This really sucks because you are totally unreachable for the whole business day, and it goes without saying that you can't use 3G.
Luckily I still have a plain old telephone line, otherwise I don't know what I would have done.
