Another startup con. I can play all those "free" games on PC. As for the topic! No way you can compare that piece of junk with a Xbox/PS3/PS4.

BTW where do I put in the Bluray Disk?
Hard Drive anyone?

Ja, I dunno if I would compare it with the major consoles, but it is hardly a piece of junk.
It's a very solid piece of kit. Well built with a powerful processor.
For Android Games it zips along.
But it is not meant to be classed as a PS4 breaker.

And as far as Blu-ray is concerned, who the heck actually needs a Blu-Ray drive?
I've never used one in my life and yet I watch tons of HD content every single day.

As of early Wednesday, Ouya was already topping $2.5 million with 28 days more to go. That people think their idea is welcome could be an understatement. What the company wants to do is to sell a free-to-play model that will make upstart history as “the people’s console.” To date, home gamers in a living-room environment pay for games upfront or a monthly fee to access libraries.

I've read a hands-on review.
Not really a challenge to the "Giants" at all.

It lacks the main draw-card of a console...games.
