P2P/downloads/local

i wanted to know the same, if i have 30 gigs local what can i do with it can i download games or what?
 
you know we supposed to help south africa in having it like overseas,,,,and then we hit things like this still even when local internet it cheap, thats why it wont get any better.. we will have more and more people here moaning cause internet is slow and they cant get this and that... its south africans that are the problem i think....

if everybody could get what they wanted give and recieve,,, no south african would ever need to go international again ever.

WL / AD (now i get it)> i dont think i can expect ppl to get me connected when i have only been online for 3weeks . I got a lot to learn and i know it . ye its DAM frustraing but what you gonna do right.
 
anyone considered trackless torrents. along with local irc for realtime manual indexing. DHT should keep it flowing if the swarm gets to like 4 peers. just gotta be sure your buddies will share

Remedy? Some of the torrent guys are reasonable, if you search this forum you will see who is involved (I'm not in on local torrents, so don't ask me!) with local torrents. Get yourself active and sharing decently with international torrent communities, and approach one of the reasonable guys and if you can show you understand the whole sharing thing they may consider you. No guarantees, but it's better than a brick wall :)

Other than that, NewsHost doesn't even have invites any more so no point there ;)
 
I doubt it, I asked previously and was just shot down. They don't seem to understand that more people would equate to more variety of shared items, but oh well.

Not with the news servers hey. The opposite is in fact the case. I don't kno why you new guys keep going on about wanting an invite to Newzhost. You don't need that download from the news servers. I havn't seen ppl try so hard to steal stuff. Get the stolen series and movies from your friends if you so desperate. What are portable hard drives for anyways?

Otherwise try reading some more forum threads. Don't learn it off. try to understand how it works.

That's what all the newbies say. :D In the end ythey get stuck with loads of leechers. Believe me when I say this that 10 proper sharers will offer more of a variety than 100 stingy leechers.

That is exactly the reason why. I have given out ten invites over the last few months. Of those, only two are actively sharing. Thus my name might get dragged through the mud. I will only invite those I know and trust. You want an invite? Stick around here and get involved.
 
Like Gary says is you get into trouble if you invite someone and they're just leeching... The Newshost doesn't wanna work for me AT ALL. Although the torrents are working, for now, i always used to be stingy about giving uploads but its worth it now
