Paladin talents/spellsand changes as requested by blizz

From the hunter side, default out of the box shot will drain up to 1368 mana per shot assuming the hunter has no talent points spent in his dotting shots.
You can spend up to 5 points in there which means the dispelling has a 30% chance to fail, and will also drain 30% more...

If I recall correctly its called Improved stings....

Damn , im not the nerf calling type , but aint that a bit ImBA?
I mean if arena team equals hunter , warlock and priest ...how the hell are you suposed to have mana after the first 2 secs?

Be more worried about the hunter's 750 damage per sec + his pets 200 damage per sec. That sucks your mana emty faster through heals.

Okay what about i just run to them and /beg for mercy?

That may actualy work :p as they have such a big dead zome, then u practicaly only have their pets to content with. But like said before, as a support you could also just heal a warrior that runs in and kill the hunter in a few blows...

How do heal with no mana?

Then one more question...
What is reccomended as pvp spec?
holy / retri or holy/prot or full-on retri?

On a serious note . How do i beat that?

1v1 you cant really. :( as a Hunter I usualy just shoot the paladin dead and kite away when he gets closer, it takes time and if they dont get help there is nothing they can do really.

No wonder there is almost no paladins wearing arena gear.
We are just by the looks of it , the worst class pvp.
Guess ill just drag my healbot ass across AV for honour and buy old arena gear as it becomes available for buying with honour points. :P
Thats atleast until i roll a DK.
I have wanted to roll a new character for long time but cant face barrens again

1v1 you stand a small chance being retri
2v2 arena holy or holy ret, main aim to keep yourself and you dps partner alive, some well timed stuns, dispelling and bubble
3v3 and 5v5 holy to have better heals keep your group alive, you will 9/10 fights be the first target on the enemy list so be ready to bubble

BG's team up with a good dps warrior/mage/warlock/hunter and support them. you can also keep a node safe as prot paly due to hard to kill, but without support you cant last too long

So in my view PVP your a fine healer, support and meat shield, but dps is not a paladins strong point

What is the highest crit you have seen a paladin do with two handed?
Also what is better , reckoning or seal of command?

And I still think that is where you make a mistake. JoW and seal of wisdom both give mana for your hits, and not for the hits you take.

You win sir.
Hehehehedont i feel like a tosser now :P
/bow
i will be using JOW much more often from now on.

Mana burn is only interesting to drain/kill targets that rely heavily on self healing. And it has a very long cast time, compared to other priest damage skills, so can be a pain with interrupts.

Also maybe some of you might not be too clued up on paladin tanks but yet you prefer warrior or druid tanking, maybe you could post your reasons for not wanting paladin tank as you find it from your class point of view? You can post here and i will see if i can formulate a full post on the EU forums and raise those issues.

I do not really understand paladins, but I did not think a paladin was supposed to be a main tank, except in an emergency. I thought a paladin was more a support class. Each class has his/her role. Is it not a bit like saying what is our problems with a mage being the main tank?

Q u o t e:
By Tseric on 9th of March 2007:The devs actually mentioned today that Paladin tanking wasn't exactly where they wanted it to be and there would be attention paid towards that end of things. Overall, they do expect Paladins, Druids and Warriors to fill tanking roles in end-game, whatever they may be. While there may be a flavor distinction between tanks, we don't want to (or want the players to) find some rigid hierarchy by which classes are measured in their tanking potential to the third decimal point.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
So paladins are supposed to tank as per blizzard. :P

Regarding hunter stings,

It costs them more mana to use it than it costs you to dispell it. Just dispell the sting.

BTW: it seems you may be an alliance paladin? thus lacking SoB, if so use BoSac on the MT instead to force damage and hence healing while OTing.
