I have a Paradox Magellan 5050 alarm panel at home. Hooked it to the home network via an IP150 module. Worked fine with Winload and Babyware for years. I could manage the system as required.
I changed over to another armed response company and they installed an Olarm module. This needs the serial ink on the panel that is currently used by the IP150 module. Olarm works nicely withe the app on my cell phone, but now I have a problem with the panel: it miss the IP150 module and continuously displays an fault message on the LCD keypad on the wall.
The technician said there is no way to make the 5050 panel forget about the existence of the IP50 module.
Anybody with a solution to this problem? Is there a location that I can change from the keypad to remove the IP150 settings from the panel?
Edit:
I contacted Olarm with the problem and they just referred be back to the installer to disable the IP150 module. Not useful, as they already claimed that it cannot be done. Anybody knows the code to change on the 5050 panel to disable the IP150? unfortunately, I do not have a programmers' manual (original installer did not want to give it to me - perhaps to keep me hostage for future calls?). They disappeared some time ago.
