I have not been able to connect to my alarm using the Insight Gold App for days. IP 150 modules connected to the internet. Just no response trying to connect in the app. Anyone else experiencing this?

Swan servers seem to be having issues. Can connect locally fine but had problems yesterday.
 
My Insite gold sub lapsed 2 days ago. Not renewing it cos it is just horrible by default.

We've been using home Assistant to control the alarm (which is super fast) via the IP150 so Insite gold was not really being used except for alarm trigger notifications. Should have that sorted in HA in the next day.
 
This bloody system.

trying to renew the subscription and it just won't take the money (goes to hungary?)
my credit card is now blocked for everything, so i need to sit on the phone/go to the bank.

anyone else having issues paying for the insight subscription recently (before i get a different card also blocked?)
 
Do yourselves a favour and buy an Olarm and connect that in series to your IP150 module.

The kill your insights gold subscription. The Insights Gold App was so clunky and unreliable and slow and Olarm is seamless.

Plug the alarm into your board and then plug the IP150 module into the “universal” port on the back of the Olarm unit.

5min to do the above.

ja i have olarm at home connected to my relatively ancient texecom (also just had to pay the annual subscription for that FYI). this is for the office with four different locations and about 10 staff, so not sure i want to change the system willy nilly.

question still open about insight gold sunscription issues.

What benefit does it provide to plug your IP150 into the Olarm?

finally resolved this. got my main account back and just used a virtual card and hey presto it worked.
What really grates my carrot is that they now charged the 2 months that the system had been expired for. so even though I have now paid for 12 months, I only got 10.

This on a system that was initially upfront for life and had no subscription in the first place.

Correct, unless you want to program your Paradox through the keypad, then you're still going to have to keep your IP150 with your Olarm if you want to program your Paradox easily through Babyware.

Yeah, I'm waiting for my subscription to die; HA is *far* more reliable.

I just wish HA wasn't so shitty, otherwise I'd be running it on the same box as my other services. Too invasive to do that though, so I need a separate pi.
