Paris 2024 Olympics

This first lightshow bit with the drums is epic.
 
The assassin from the opening ceremony is back lol.
 
I really enjoyed myself and had a great time! There were some events like archery that I really like but totally missed because the SABC couldn't be bothered to stream it, but maybe after it ends I'll be able to find some streams of it somewhere (and check out AfricanTech's bae)
 
Man, I'm tired now.

The French part of the ceremony with the Olympic rings was pretty good.

The LA part of the show is a massive mistake lol.
 
That felt like a Super Bowl halftime show lol what is that doing in the closing ceremony
 
I must admit, I wasn't able to watch all the events, but definitely a few superstars that emerged on the athletics side imo are Gabby Thomas, Femke Bol, Letsile Tebogo and Duplantis.

Is there Highlights or like a 5-10 min recap of the closing ceremony ?
 
Closing ceremony was way too long. The only good parts for me was the ancient rings show and the amazing music that went with it. Also the recaps were very well done.

The French indie band that played went on for a bit too long and them the LA show was terrible. Nothing but American celebs singing a couple of songs on a beach in front of a small crowd. That's all the American team could come up with?

Went to bed after the LA show so don't know what else I missed lol.
 
Oh yeah and Tom Cruise performed a couple of M:I stunts and took the Olympic flag to Hollywood lol.
