Paris 2024 Olympics

The French are pigheaded. But what would you do if a Cape Town Olympics was under threat 'cos of a shark scare Atlantic-side, send everyone off to Muizenberg? No, you'd let a few sharks get their meal and save the rest.

It's slightly less predictable than a river that has been too polluted to swim in for half a millennium.

But on that point I've actually been semi-involved in the organizing of an open water swimming event in very sharky waters. (Plett) Drones, shark spotters, kayak escorts and a a slightly altered course was the solution. You don't have to get too drastic.

If the water isn't fixed by tomorrow then the triathlons will be moved to Friday. After that though if it's still polluted then they'll have to change to duathlons. Rather that than no medals at all for athletes.

Must also suck for the athletes saw Kristian Blimmenfelt got up at 4am just for the race to be posponed, might happen again so difficult to plan around. Should be an advanatge for guys who aren't race favourites so good for us!

Here I am, watching 7's, then realising I watched this yesterday.

How are you supposed to know which is live and which is a repeat?
unless you keep up news and radio it doesn't matter if its a day late

Get dstv where they clearly say live or HLs :sneaky:

That bronze game... that final run... jojojojojo. Insane!

And then there is the New Zealanders with arguably the worst try in history.
