I am looking at replacing my current car for various reasons and found what looked to be a great candidate last week Friday at a local dealership. I went to see the car and besides some minor wear and tear it is in good condition for it's age and mileage is really low for it's age. The price asked for the car is in the ballpark as is the trade offered on my car but I discovered today that either a service has been missed or it was done but not captured on the brands national system. It is a minor interval service so should just be oil, oil filter, sump plug and washer with the next major service having been done in June this year which included a brake fluid flush, front and rear pads, all filters, oil, etc, etc.
The dealership selling vehicle is hunting for the missing service entry but if it doesn't turn up I need to decide if I want the car or not. I have bought many cars with little to no service history in the past but none have been daily drives that I rely on to get around. Any thoughts?
