Partserve Woes

So, in November 2022 I took a laptop to Partserve in Cape Town.
Booked the Acer laptop in with them on the 21st November - on the 25th I called and they had still not looked at it.
Eventually on the 29th November I got a quote to repair, informed the lady and she arranged for the company to pay - called Partserve early in December and was told the payment was received.
Since then - I have been calling at least twice a week to get updates on this.
It's now almost February 2023 and still the repair has not been done.

Initially, the lady said they waiting for the part to come, then another lady said the part was sent
Each person at Partserve gives me a different story but it's always ultimately, at some point, blamed on ACER.

Even now, I've called every single day as the lady (owner of the laptop) is on my case about the laptop and each time, Partserve say someone will call me back but no one ever does.

Does anyone have any managers/supervisors/big bosses details that I can contact because I think I need to go into the CPT branch on Monday and throw my toys, but I should go when it's busy and do it infront of all the people.

Or failing that, someone from Acer who can maybe enquire from their side.

I've dealt with Acer in the past (support) and don't remember them being this bad - but this was for laptops under warranty.
 
Went into the CPT branch yesterday - got there at 9:30am!
Asked the staff to speak to a manager/supervisor and ended up seeing BRIDGETTE at like 10:15.
Took her 45 minutes to attend to me.

Apparently my part arrives on Wednesday and I should have the laptop back Friday (Monday latest)

I highly doubt that will happen but yeah, miracles may occur.

I know 2 people who have taken PS4's to Partserve and their moaned and moaned for months after the fact - I have no idea how Playstation or any company can allow them to do their repairs - the company is a joke but what is sad is, other people actually allow Partserve to do work for them.

There was a guy who came in yesterday while I was waiting, collected his printer but "no parts available" however, he had already paid!
So now it becomes an issue of "get the refund"

I can only imagine how long he will wait for that!
 
I am having the same issue with delays in repairs on my Acer laptop and communication with Partserve Durban. The ETA goes between a date and then none and yet they insist on payment before doing the job. It is going to take over 2 months for them to possibly have it done and the work is just to replace the board with a damaged charger port. This is ridiculous!
 
I cannot understand how Lenovo assigns these guys official Agent Status. Dealing with Partserve is enough to make us stop selling and supporting Lenovo laptops. It was impossible to order a 45-watt Yellow Square connector charger from them on two occasions. They make it nearly impossible to actually buy anything. Partserve has the worst customer service among any IT provider. I really hope Lenovo South Africa understands the damage this company is doing to their brand
