Weird on my side it is 100% , without any username or password, for once i am lucky

Maybe it has something to do with multiple people trying to access it at the same time. Give it some time and try it later.

I just tried it again and it worked for me.

No, I don’t think so. People must remember that:

1) No username and password are required to log into the server (anonymous:anonymous).
2) Only ONE CONCURRENT connection is allowed (Per IP I suppose). Browsing on the server counts as 1 already.
3) Download accelerators kicks off with more than one concurrent connection and will be blocked (rejects "username+password").

Already busy with it. Patience is what is needed now though - The server is very busy. Running at 20KB/s now and is 75% done already.

Anyone know how to apply this patch ? or must we wait till after 12?

I've got bothe files, select BackgroundDownloader.exe

It runs to 100%, says files OK

Then Click Finished

Then what ?

No .exe, sigh, googled for an answer, prob sumin stupid...

Just wait till the maintenance is over then log into the game and it will apply it self.

Yeah, ive run the backgrounddownloader, its "Checked" all 291 mb of 2.3 patchy goodness,

Bugger, realised I hadn't done all the patches and now I have to download 680megs! Thanks goodness I can abuse the uncapped at work

The moment I saw the size of the patch I packed up my notebook and lugged it over to someone who had most of it already. Consequently I only needed to download about 10MB.
Pity about the extended downtime last night, I was really looking forward to playing. Especially with the new leveling changes.

wtf? I have downloaded all the files, run the BackgroundUpdater and now when I try to load WoW, it tells me the patch is required and then kicks me out to the BackgroundUpdater again, where it has only finished downloading 235MB.
