but why? Ive downloaded parts 1 and 3 no problems at all any technically minded people out there that can help?

when I click on the direct link thats on page 4 of this thread, it pops up the downloading bar at the bottom of the screen (I use chrome) but all that happens is the time remaining goes up

It is definitely something on your side, some proxy device or something.

? Im at work. theres no funny stuff thats been done with the pc? how do i go about finding out how to fix this?

so, had a look in the download manager thingie, and boom, its downloading. it appears google chrome only shows that (in this case Im guessing?) when you have your 1st GB downloaded. now wtf is up with that? with the other files it showed exatly where in the DL process it was, with this one...

eh now I am getting weirded out here. its *finished* downloading at 71.1megs. is this where the PAR(?( files come in?

No, you'll need a heck of a lot more of the file than that before the PARs will help.

it gives issues because the file does not have a title. get a free ftp client like filezilla.

Mine downloaded at 350k on a 4mb line, you isp might be shaping that port during the day. It's normal.

Hi guys

I'm way to tired to read through this whole thread so I'm just going to ask. I've downloaded the stage1 patch from the wage link that was provided in this thread. Do I need the other files as well before I can patch?

Reason being is that I can't extract the file. Gives an error. I'm hoping I haven't gone and wasted 1.7gb of bandwidth
