patch-4-0-1

o.k. how do i do this?

Download the file, save it in the patch folder and the updater will then 1st check the files in the directory and then update the progress accordingly?

Place it in your wow Update folder, then the updater should automatically pick it up.

The files that you download first need to be extracted of coarse, they are archived with winrar so that when people download the file and extract it, they can see whether their files downloaded correct or got corrupted somehow.

Was up to 3.7Gb when I downloaded it yesterday.

did it through WA - got it all downloaded in about 90 mins - 980kb/s and and free.

+1 for WA and their Freezone

I put the files in the Updates folder in Wow yesterday. Today, the launcher downloaded a quick 10mb patch, and then the downloader started. It reckons the patch is around 4.45Gb. Thankfully the existing data saved a boatload of bandwidth.

haha. on a srs note, if i bought one gb from wa, used it over a month ago, have an email address from them, but havent used them since, would I still be able to use their freezone? or do u have to log in through your webafrica account?
