Patch in Cape Town

Hi there,

the download is killing me via wireless. Is there anyone in Cape Town willing to put the patch on a DVD?

Windows and Mac patches are exactly the same. Its just the updater you would need, if you put the windows patches in the update folder they will run. I did that previously on my macbook.

Where in the north are you based?

I drive home through randburg every day, not entirely sure where Robindale is, but i go down Rabi. I am meeting up with Occulate at Cedar square at around 19:20/30 this evening as he also needs them, so if you want to shoot past with a dvd you can, and you can copy them aswell.

Okay, need someones help/advise...
I downloaded Stage 1 & Stage 3 from Wage.co.za without issues using download accelerator. Stage 2 however for some reason doesnt support "Resume" and this basically mean unless with some miracle I manage to download a 2.7gb file without dc'ing once or something causing a timeout, I will get say halfway and have to start from scratch again.

Is there any other local server to download this from? is there something WA can do on this specific file to change it? both Stage 1 & 3 did support resume.

So I have a few options from what I can see

1) download the rest with blizzard downloader, which at times does actualyl download but usually sits on 0.00kb/s.
2) try my luck a few times possibly wasting a couple of gigs before giving up and then doing option 1 again
3) find someone to post me a dvd with stage 2 on?
4) give someone ftp rights to my server in the US to upload it for me, which may take most ppl in SA forever also even if someone did it
5) stop playing wow and find a new game that I dont need to download more than a dvd worth of data just so I can then later go buy a dvd with more data on, just to get to lvl 85 :)

any better ideas than above is more than welcome?

(I connect using wifi to towers and my first non-wifi connection is 150km away from me so quite a few chances something goes wrong in the about 20 hrs it will take to dl 2.7gb )
