PC Cases - The search continues

I just got a HAF 912 Advanced and I love it. It's a big upgrade from my previous cm690. Cable routing is tops. It's quite inaudible. Tons of space for watercooling with rubber grommets on the back. Front panel USB3.0 bay. Bottom mounted. 2x200mm fans. Full black interior. Solid feel all round. No vibrations. I'd recommend it highly and I can show a pic of my interior if you'd like.

Not a bad price under 1k from takealot.

My motherboard came with a front Panel connector, so I put that in 5.25" bay with enclosed adapter. Gigabyte board has 10 usb 3 ports and seeing as how the silverstone cases mount the motherboard facing up I dont see an issue.

I got an Antec P182 - great case and I see the P183 has USB 3.0 support too. Not too badly priced as well.

The design of that case actually makes a lot of sense.

It made a lot more sense when Wootware were selling it for r1200. A friend of mine got the last one. It really is a beautiful piece of work.

Next project... ;)

The airflow in that design is good, nothing is at right angles to the air stream like in current cases where your gpu acts as a wall. With this design the air flows straight over the card.

The other thing I like is the top access for all the cables, no longer have to pull the case forward to plug stuff in/out. It's all win.

Why has nobody else done this before?

It's not ALL win - cable routing inside is a bit of a pain. And the HDD's are a bit close to the bottom of the board so they can interfere with the gfx card. But all in all it is a very very nice case and the fans are amazing.

I got Thermaltake Chaser.good case plenty of space.extreme airflow.can take H100 rad as well with other water cooling.you tube it or go to thermaltake.com

So I have finally bought a Corsair 600T. From the out set it was fantastic with latched side panels, large amount of space inside and removable air filters. Other thoughts are, besides having to return the first one for one with working side panels, the wiring in this case is fantastic, quality I would give 7.5/10 for that price I would like to see slightly better build quality, I don't use the fan controller as I use AI Suite but from the little I did it didn't seem to do much to reduce the fan RPM, the USB 3.0 on the front I/O plugs into the back I/O it would be nice to have had an adapter to plug it straight into the MoBO, If you don't like sleeping next to a landing UFO space craft I would suggest removing/covering all the lights +/- 10 of them (including the power and HDD lights which are the brightest) lastly the top space under the grid is quite nice for those extra fans for your H100 cooler but then when the top grid is put on again there is a little (but not too noticeable) unevenness between the grid and case as if the fans don't quite fit. After saying all that I still think this is one of the best on the market and I am very happy with my buy.
