PC Link Computers: Legit?

You're smearing the wrong company and people.

 • pclink.co.za and pclinkshop.co.za are not owned by the same people
 • pclink.co.za orders ARE their (Click to Buy's) problem, but pclinkshop.co.za orders are not
 • None of the directors are or were involved with the company in question. The company in question has only had one director, the owner. He shares neither a name, surname or even ethnicity with anyone mentioned above
 • The two are based in different provinces. The company in question is based here in Gauteng and has never expanded its operations outside of the province
 • You're confusing PC LINK COMPUTERS CC (the company in question) with PC-LINK CC (which has existed since LONG before the company in question opened its doors)
Who wouldn't confuse them? Bad choice of company names.

Anyone who went so far as to dig up lists of directors and affiliated companies. Or so I hoped.

Honestly though, everyone knows the company in question isn't based in KZN, so I don't know how anyone can say a KZN address is the same as the address used by said company /shrug

Anyone also had issues with laptop4u? I highly recommend not buying and am happy to DM regarding the (long list) of reasons, based on personal (extended, painful) experience

Honestly, they would be best to rebrand after this fiasco.

Then why is teh dumbass posting here?

I spent R800 rand at this place a month ago, and still waiting for my order. Now guess I'll never see my money or product I ordered.

I want my money back. If their website is offline, how do we proceed? Class action lawsuit?

genetic if you paid via debit or credit card just start a chargeback with your bank, if you paid via EFT then the money is sadly long gone.

Well I certainly wouldn't do it considering the post.
It's not our job to unconfuse brand names.
Starting a pc company with pc in the name says you don't care about the brand anyway.

The problem - A fool and his money are soon parted.

You don't buy from dodgy places and expect 100%. Sometimes you're lucky, most of the time...not.

I'm not so sure that pclinkshop.co.za got a fair shake here.

Sure, close down pclinkshop.com

But the way I read the article, pclinkshop.co.za honoured all the refunds and delivered their sales?
I bought from them quite a few times on occasion over the years and had no issues. Didn't order the last few months though, so can't attest past January.

Nope. For one, they are/were the same company, which site you used determined where they ordered stock (local vs international) but that's it. The only refunds that have been issued were done so by the banks or PayFast (until they emptied their PayFast account), and no deliveries have taken place for MONTHS.

Neither .co.za nor .com exist anymore. They shared an office which has stood empty for the last two months. The two also shared bank accounts. There was literally nothing differentiating one from the other, other than the domain.
