Who has made the switch from PC to console gaming and was it a difficult change?

Can you ever be as good on a controller as a keyboard and mouse, especially with fps type games?

I play xbox one, fps took me about three weeks to get used to. But now I am fine and actually enjoy it with the controller and yes I think you can be equally on par with a keyboard and mouse. But it does take time and it can be frustrating.

I prefer kyeboard/Mouse for FPS.

Only I love the console is exclusive title like Uncharted/ Tomb Raider etc...

I won't say I made a switch but I have tried playing games with the laaitie on the PS3. It's a massive change but you get used to the controls pretty quickly. Going from KB and mouse for FPS to a controller is damn difficult. I played COD MW3 with the laaitjie and man is it hard to get the aiming right at the beginning.

But apart from that no issues. I prefer PC though :p

Same here. FPS on PC with keyboard and mouse. Console exclusives and some games on console, other games on PC with xbox controller.

Yeah, I figured it was about investing the time and patience to get used to a controller. Maybe I need to just take the plunge and do it because I can get a PS4 with 2 games and 2 controllers here (UAE) for about R5,700.

Very good price.

As others I also prefer keyboard/mouse for FPS, but on a console racing, fighting and exclusives are great. Get Bloodborne.

Same here. Kids prefer minecraft on pc, but couch co-op with the wife on Diablo III and co-op with the kids on Little big planet 3 makes it a nice family experience. In a weird 21st century kinda way :p

Looks good. Deal comes with 'the last of us' and 'drive club'.

We've always been a Nintendo family and the Wii U is currently underneath the TV for some quick Mario Kart action. I should say that I'm working away from home and the PS4 would pretty much be for single player off line gaming.

Why not go back to clubbing women over the head and making fire with two sticks as well? :p

I play alot of Football manager so a console is useless for me and for the rest of sport game I use a xbox 360 controller. I think one must look at what game you will play and then pick console or pc or both.

Considering how many games are being built around a controller, you shouldn't have too many issues. I have an Xbox one controller that works really well on the pc.

So I own a PS4 and a Gaming PC.

I've basically stashed the PS4 behind the PC to be pulled out for exclusives, and just pull out the PS4 controls to use with my PC when I want to do co-op play ( or games that work best with a controller )

Steam in-home streaming also allows me to attach a low powered laptop to the TV in the lounge and just stream the games I want to play on the big screen without needing to drag the whole beast over there.

If you're serious about gaming, build a little gaming rig, get a USB/Bluetooth adapter and use the PS4 controls to play your favorite games. I got the PS4 for two reasons; GTAV and MGSV, both of which are now PC titles as well. I'm honestly considering selling teh console now.

PS4-destroying PC + Steelseries KB/Mouse combo + XBox 360 controller = So. much. Win.

PC all the way!

only games that is nice to play with a controller,is driving games have more control over throttle and steering

but fps with it is a pain!
