PC vs the "TV" consoles

You can't use that PC to compare.

It's doesn't have a harddrive or OS, so you're talking at least another R1K-R1.5k. On top of that it's an AGP/939 board, which means, when it's obsolete in 3 months time (it's a 6800, it's already behind) you can't upgrade it anyway!

If you look at the amount of people that have PC's against the amount of people that have Consoles then I think percentage wise this is not a bad figure. I still don't understand how only 69 people could vote. So there is only 69 people on the MYADSL forum that play games?

you know in order to understand thee whole concept is that,I think to have a good enjoyable time with a pc game requires money and money and money..why i say that is,Let me make a personal example,
I have a fairly fast pc with a 5500 fx nvidia grafx card,512 + 256 ram
Ok now i want to play f.e.a.r,Ok i pop in disk,,wow i see i need to have 1024 ram (upset now)shyt a brick.Right of to the computer shop,,get the other 512..pop it in the ol pc and boom i am paying for playing
I see i am getting stutter sometimes in the game...Ok ( bad comp.bad comp..)
Write i am on my last straw with this hungry f.ing grafix game.
I find out that my bus speed on my motherboard is to slow,Once again..upgrade my pc.Then i find out i must upgrade the cpu(**** **** ****)more money(now remember it was for this fear game)
I play again,Setting the grafix to high,,ono Another stutter in the game( fuming now....)I am gonna kick this pc binna in its maaaasssseee p)
