PDF Editor

Acrobat, or a free online version (That doesn't always work)
 
Over the years I have tried many PDF to Word converters and I find the best for me is Ice-cream PDF converter
 
Just google whatever to whatever converter online and you'll find many free websites right from the top. No need to install nutin.

You won't find anything useful for free when it comes to PDF.

StackSocial has commercial yet affordable software which can edit etc... PDFs.

The free online tools can usually do that for you if I'm not mistaken.

NitroPDF can do this ( not sure if the trial can, but it has the option to extract/convert to image )
