It's called "Taller", you can invert the colours on it as well. Particularly like this one as the bar in the middle shows if it's connected or not. That looks cool!
What watch face is that?
Finally decided to order a pebble.
I ordered one from there website and paid by credit card last Monday.
On Wednesday I got a mail from them that it has been shipped with a tracking number for DHL.
On Friday I get a mail from DHL regarding import tax I have to pay. I made an EFT to DHL.
Received the watch on Monday.
New Pebble Time Steel looks pretty hot! The smart straps also look like quite a cool idea :

Drools and salivates - now I want one of those
Actually backed them on Kickstarter. Took the $480 option for the 2 watches, both steel.
I have a Pebble Steel that's about 3 months old if anyone is interested...R2000. I have only used the metal strap, leather is still brand new. Would lie if I said the watch was pristine, because the strap has visible wear and there is 1 small, barely visible scratch on the watchface.
Anyhow...can't wait for the new one to arrive!
You know what's sad? When I read Pebble these days, I'm thinking of child car seats...
Some quick feedback for those thinking about getting a Pebble Time
1) Improvements: I'm happy that this was a good upgrade. The new form factor is good, the buttons feel much better. The strap has nice soft feel to it.
2) Colour screen: It's nice and works in direct sunlight. Certainly not going to be as bright as your smartphone, but then again I only have to charge it once a week
3) Timeline concept: I still need to spend a bit more time with this, but it looks like a nice feature. You basically press down to see what's coming, meetings, weather etc. Up to see what you missed.
4) Animations: There are a lot of animations in the menus and timeline: I suspect they may get old quickly, but they don't last too long where you may be left thinking it would be better without them.
5) App loading: Apps/Watch faces that are not on the device get loaded from your phone as you access them. It loads quite quickly and is much more user friendly than before where you needed to go to your phone to load/unload them.
So overall I'm very happy. I also went with a clear screen protector from GadgetWraps and it was easy to install and looks really good. Still have another day to go for it to completely settle (it's a wet install and the bubbles dry out).
thanks for the review.
can you elaborate on the delivery process? which courier, time between notifications etc?
Also, duties/vat you paid.
As you can guess, I'm waiting for mine still
I bought mine on kickstarter. Was about R2000 initially and another R550 for shipping and customs (went with the DHL option as SAPO is a complete waste of time). Shipped from Ireland on the 2nd of June and I had it in my hands on the 4th.
