Last week I was rabbiting on about what a good thing Vernon Koekemoer was, but that I thought the real heroes of this mulleted Internet phenomenon were the bright sparks who invented him.

I heard Vernon Koekemoer can Mxit from a public payphone and is the only know person other than Chuck Norris that can slam a revolving door.

Chuck can walk on water....Vernon swims through land.

the pic was taken at H2O but it was sent to someone with the words "Narc" as he so obviously looked like an undercover cop.I aint sure who took the pic but it seems more likely than the story as who would think let me take a pic of x and it will be big on the net?The pic got emailed a couple of times and a few played with PS and the rest is history.Was not about making someone famous but rather about someone who probably wears a jean pant!

Actually it wasnt the photographer that earned Vern the publicity, but rather a marketing noob who received the pic and decided to test it out as a viral marketing concept through Facebook. Thats the story I heard, and well... the rest is history as they say!
