[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

I have a 65" B8000. I'm having trouble playing HDR 10-bit files from my PC. Dolby Vision will kick on when using the built in Netflix, but I can't get HDR to kick in via the built in Plex or Kodi (running on a RPi4)... Any advice on how best to play these files?
 
J0127? That’s probably older than mine, but do you maybe have the firmware file so I can install it?

my tv’s firmware version is at V0001.01.00a.J0912
My apologies, it's J1127. The same firmware is used on the B7100, B8000 and Q8600 models. It's on a memory stick somewhere and I will have to go and look for it. There were some links to the firmware in this thread or in the Hisense Q8600 thread.

Hi,

I have a Hisense 4K Smart TV (Android)
When using the TV even when the volume is set around 20 the volume will drop to like 10. Once you try to increase it, it will pop up with the High volume warning that is normally on Android Phones.
Is there anyway to remove this, I cant find an option in settings. Not sure why this is even on the smart TV.

any had a similar issue?
 
Hi fellas, I've been holding out since my current 50N3000UW 2017 to buy a new set. My budget goes up to the Samsung 55Q70r at 15k, so basically Hisense 65Q8600 vs 55Q70R?
Any thoughts, I know this year Sammy just rebranded last year models with their tellys
 
The B7200 is currently on Daily deals.
Was actually looking for a 55" UHD but this caught my eye.
Worth it or should I pass?

HARD PASS.
I bought one in Jan, after a week it slowed down to the point of being unusable.
Had to hard reset it every day for it to work.

Logged a service call and they sent a tech out. Not sure what he did cos I was at work and there was no report to accompany the fix. It worked fine after that, for two months.

Been struggling since April with the same issue. But now the TV also randomly turns itself on as well.

I logged another service request.

All I want is to have a TV that I can turn on and use.

If anyone has any suggestions for a fix, please feel free to share.

@Hisense SA If you have a firmware update for this, please drop me a message.
 
B7100 is our entry level UHD
Compared to A6100
It has improved picture quality
New interface (Vidaa 3.0)
Headphone Jack support (TV and headphones can play at the same time at different volumes)

Hi you say the headphones and tv volume can play at the same time on the b7100 but mine says headphones not available in the menu?
