[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

Hi Sudo.
Obviously getting DSTV through cable is out.
If you don't want to go the m
But look I'm not one to leave people in a lurch, his problem isn't DSTV Now per se, he wants to be able to watch sport live. I know there are various methods but I'd prefer to find a solution here as you guys understand his circumstances already. If I've interpreted the thread correctly then am I to understand that the TV's before 2018 do not support Android?

Hi guys, I also have thr same tv. 55k3300uw. Just yesterday my youtube stopped working. says something about an invalid certificate and refers to an incorrect date on the system. i have already done a factory reset and the only thing that seems to be working is netflix. i dont even bother with the other apps as nothing is supported. i also cannot find any firmware update for this model. the last update i did was 2 years ago & it was a uk version. please help

Tough break, the guy ended up getting a Mi Box.

Does Wake on LAN work on these TV"s?.

I've tried it on my one TV, and even though listening is enabled in the settings, I couldn't get it working.

@Hisense SA

I'm looking at some entry level Hisense TVs. I see the 40" TVs now just list as 50hz whereas in the past they were CMR or SMR 100hz. Does 50hz make much of a difference compared to the previous models with SMR 100hz?

Hi Guys, looking for some help on my B7200 58".

I'm struggling to get the casting to work from either my phone (Huawei P30 Pro) or my wife's phone (Samsung A50). The phones and the TV are obviously on the same WiFi network and I have the 'cast' icon on most of the phone apps that support it (FaceBook, YouTube etc.). When I hit the cast button the phones will ask me if I want to "Cast to Living Room TV", but as soon as I confirm I get the error message "There was a problem connecting to Living Room TV". This happens regardless of which phone I try.

The only way I've managed to get it to work, is by playing a video I have saved on my phone and using the ES File Explorer app on my phone. If I choose to "Remote Play" the video file, it asks me which device I want to cast to and works 100%. Weird...and very frustrating. Google searches have turned up nothing, so I'm hoping someone else has some personal experience with this issue.

Thanks in advance.
H

try clearing the Google Chromecast app cache on the TV. Could be a solution.

Hallo Everyone

What picture

Hi There Lucius Jan

Please try the latest firmware below. If you still struggle you can inbox me your contact details and we can try resolving this matter.
Remember to keep extracting the downloaded file until it's a *.bin and copy that to usb.

Hi @Hisense SA

I am still experiencing the same problems which as before even though I have updated the firmware.
Any feedabck from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

I own the Hisense 50" 4K UHD Smart TV LEDN50A6100UW.
When I stream content via Youtube/Netflix using my PS4 or Smart TV apps the screen goes dark however, you can still hear what was playing in the background. I am able to recreate the issue 100% of the time as it always occurs the same time during videos regardless of which video I'm streaming.

Dude, you're a life-saver. I've been struggling with this for months and now it's finally working as it should. It took a few reboots, but clearing that cache was definitely the answer. Thanks so much!

For some reason my Hisense TV doesn't want to connect to my wifi for the last couple of days.....makes no sense to me. Does't pick up the network when I search under wireless.....

Hi everyone, our TV gave up the ghost over the weekend and our insurance is busy processing the claim as we speak. What would you recommend in the 5 - 8K range? 40 inches and up. I'd like something that's 4K compatible and works well in sunnier, brighter spaces. I do watch the occasional bit of sport too so I would also want something that handles movement well. I own a Firestick and don't care about smart functionality at all.

Secondly, due to this thread being used for troubleshooting and support a lot of the time, I do realise that it may skew one's opinions towards the negative side of the Hisense brand. Are most people satisfied with their Hisense purchases?

Hi, any link where we can view the latest firmware for all models instead of specifically asking if there is an update al the time?

I'd also like to know. I have emailed Hisense two weeks ago, and called. Have not received a response yet

make sure your router is broadcasting on a channel between 1-12. usually if its channel 13 it wont pick up 2.4ghz.
Also, if you have a dual-band router, ensure the 2ghz and 5ghz options are both enabled on the router. Hope this helps.

Also had this problem before. Have you tried unplugging the tv from the wall socket for about 10 seconds and re-plugging it and then try again? This solved it for me in the past.

I've got two Hisense TVs, one going on 5 years now and the other 2, never had an issue.
For 8k you'll be able to get a 55" nvm a 40"

Thanks for the reply, that's really helpful to hear! I thought everyone had ignored my question :)

@Hisense SA is there a firmware update for the 55M7000 ULED? When I watch TV on any source, without the smooth motion enabled, there is picture judder which very annoying to the eye. The newer model 55B8000 has a custom setting to reduce the blur as well as reduce judder, which is essentially what I'm after. I don't enjoy having to be forced to watch with smooth motion effect.
I flashed mine but not HDR on the TV remote is disabled although its detects HDR content. do you have SA firmware
