Hello, please update the link. I'm currently running HE50A6100UWTS(A002)_J0603 and have issues with plex buffering the whole time, as well as having to log into showmax every other day
 
Hi All,

I am experiencing the Netflix Login issue where I have to reset and loogin everyday. This is on my Hisense 50A6100UW/S1Z1, I cannot find any updates for this tv on the internet. I have sent @Hisense SA a PM and currently waiting for a reply. Does anyone know where I can find updates for this tv. There is nothing on the hisense website.

Hi, I am having the exact same issue, I updated my tv this morning (as requested by the tv) and now none of my apps (Netflix, showman etc) are working. I have rebooted everything, I have cleared the cache. I would rather go back to an older version.

I have a 50a6100uw

firmware currently is : V0000.01.00a.J1219

Did you manage to get this sorted out? I'm still stuck :(
 
looking at either Hisense 65B8000 or Samsung QN65Q60R.

I am looking to upgrade from my Samsung 46c7000 to 4k and to be used alot with my xbox one x. Anybody have either of the above tv setups and can comment?
 
Have seen the question asked a number of times, however was not able to find a download link. Please can you assist with a link for firmware upgrade (or original firmware) for 58A6100UW. Was busy with upgrade and power went off. TV working but numerous app's not working anymore. Thanks in advance. Carel

I don't think you will get any help until lockdown is over. Unless someone has the file saved and can share it with you, the best solution would be to call Hisense support but I assume that's only available from mid April
 
Hi Everyone. I am hoping someone can help. Have a Hisense TV with Vidaa U OS. Can’t seem to load play store and the selection of apps seems very limited. Can anyone tell me how to
1. Get Playstore and those apps on to the TV
2. Mirror my iPhone onto the TV. At the moment I am able to cast YouTube and Netflix but can’t actually mirror the screen itself. Has anyone been able to achieve this ?
3. How do I get more apps other than just what’s on the limited Vidaa U AppStore

You wont be able to get the Google play store as the tv is running the Vidaa OS as you mentioned and not Android.
 
Hi guys

i have the 65q8600 an i have an issue with the picture settings
it seems to reset for some odd reason

i've tried the all source and current source and also the fast power on setting

seems to help when i put the fast power on to on but then i have an issue with sound

then i turn the fast power on to off and turn the tv off and on, it remembers the settings

when i go to sleep and the next morning it resets itself
weird thing is sometimes only on some inputs like dstv now or youtube
other times only on some settings itself like it will save everything except back-light from 40 will go back to 100
i use the cinema night setting

tried the others as well, same story

anyone got some idea what i can try

running firmware 1127

I have quite an old model I think as I am not able to get any updates on it for the firmware. I have a hisense 65k3300uw and are looking for newer firmware as I use my TV to watch 4k movies on my external hdd and some of the x265 files work and some is just not working. So if anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

I have a hisense it’s my second hisense smart tv first one had dead pixel line they sent a technician and he replaced the tv i currently have the 1 I’m using now for more than 3 yrs no issues plays Netflix and YouTube very well. No updates that I know of and I do not need to log into accounts all the time, works well with PS4 the sound of the tv is not good at all would recommend a sound bar or external speaker setup. Otherwise had good customer service and it’s a good first time smart tv.

If Netflix does not work you need to restore the tv to factory settings in the menu. Log into account and it should work.

Good Day.

Does anyone know where I can download the firmware for the 32inch Smart TV, model 32A5600HW.

I have tried calling Hisense, and have sent two emails, but have not received a response as yet.

I am having issues with the DSTV Now app, I keep on getting the "Insufficient Storage" message and then the app closes. I have not installed any new apps and I cannot delete the default apps.

Kindly assist.
 
Bought my b7200 android TV on 20 march.
Happy with it except:
1: TV is slow and laggy compared to both models of skyworth android TVs i owned prior. (Infinity design of skyworth tv is also waay nicer than b7200 grey plastic bezel)

2: new remote design of 7200 is crappy..bad layout,you always find yourself pressing the wrong buttons and the plastic bottons squeak when pressed from day 1

3: Lots of stutter/judder even with any motion setting applied(custom greyed out)

4: as someone mentioned here earlier with their Hisense, no sound from centre speaker on dolby but in my case, only sometimes. Other times it works again. (On Netflix) Usually after a reboot.
On skyworths i had the same issue.

5: 9 DAYS after i purchased it, i switched to HDMI, same one if been using everytime, and tv had white lines on the screen. Another day i watched a movie from my hd directly plugged inat usb port and when it changed to the next movie, the lines appeard again. All that fixed the lines issue in both instances was to pull the powercord out and reboot.(see attached picture)
My 6100 i initially bought in 2018 did the same on HDMI on the 1st day already. Now this Hisense is also doing it after the 9th day.

I saw on another forum a guy had android 9 on his b7200 already and he said the judder went away after the software upgrade to android 9. The skyworth runs Android 9 so i cant see why hisense android tvs are still on Android 8.

@Hisense SA please let me know if you have the new Android software for my TV yet and if it would fix the judder.

If those lines appear again though, Im returning it and getting it replaced after the lockdown.20200329_000448 (1).jpg

Those lines looks wrong, I won't be a happy chappy if that was my TV.
 
I ended up buying the 55B8000 tv. Using a soundbar via bluetooth which for the most part had no issues, but sometimes audio will go out of sync.

I tried changing the lip sync settings but that doesn't appear to do much, should I rather use an Optical connection between soundbar and tv? Or has anyone else also experienced this issue and was able to resolve it?
Had this issue as well. Connecting via optical sorted it out. For some reason on the soundbar when it shows "smart TV" while connected via optical, the syncing goes out of wack...but changing it with the soundbar showing "optical" sorts everything out.

Exactly why I'll be returning it.

New issue : the TV's headphone jack is also loose and not working. Im starting to think i got a used/2nd hand TV

Sounds like it. I was interested in buying one of the Android models, but that post scared me. But, I guess not all models will do the same, but for now I'll stick with my Android TV box.
