[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

well its for the kids room and they dont need a bar the sound is more than good enough

i have a surround sound set in the lounge but if the source sound is poor the sound is poor
Before I had a bar, we ran a old lcd off a cheap 2.1 pc speaker system via the headphone jack. The sub really makes a big difference and its not expensive.

light bleed i think

the technician is so useless i have to ask him everyday and all he said was oh they cant repair it will be credited

the TV is the a7100 so its the 2019/2020 range

weird they cant fix
unless this technician is talking kark and just getting the TV back
That sucks, well that seals the deal for me, I'll get more selling mine than going through a Hisense warranty claim and then getting my eBucks back and going by your mission selling it will be waaay less hassle.

i like the new sound bars but the price ...madness

i have a old sony 1000w 5.1 sounds good for me but like i said the sound from the source needs to be good ..like i have some proper blu ray copies and for some reason showmax has very good sound

so those make the floors and windows rattle

Bought a hisense bar for 2k, with the TV on BF deals. Really big difference when compared to stock TV sound. it is definitely worth the extra cash if you enjoy a cinematic experience,

Plus these new sound bars are more than just a TV speaker. you can connect any device to it via bluetooth

Yup and Netflix can sometimes have horrible sound mix.

He said they would replace it but dont have stock. So, decent thing is give equivalent of new stock.

I am happy with my hisense but their customer service is crap.

Its an expensive item. 3 years to break? If after 5 years, still ok.

But if you willing to accept crap customer service and no pride in their products they sell, your choice.

Those skyworth tvs look ok at least when they on display
most TVs look good in the store/demo mode. The picture is usually on the “Dynamic” setting and because the store is so well lit, it’s very deceptive. If you flip through your settings and find that “store” mode you will see how bad it actually is for home use.

I don’t know any manufacturer who gives a new model as a replacement. Maybe they would rather give you the money back and let you buy the new model as it will count as a sale? Dunno, but if I had something for 3 years and it broke and they gave me my money back I’d actually be fine with that. A new model would be good but if I get back what I actually paid, I’ll just take it and move on.
