I'm doubtful that its 60hz as I see the 8K model also has the same "ultra motion" advertising and I dont know of any current 8K tvs that do not have 120hz panels.

Hisense... please don't pull a Mabena on us

The 8K one last year was the only true 120hz HDMI 2.1 tv in the entire local range. The other models advertised had 120hz panels but no proper support for it so it just doubled the frames and wasn't true 120hz. Hopefully they change it for this year since LG has managed to make a cheap real 120hz tv with all the HDMI 2.1 features.

Cheap 120hz?
 
Has anyone successfully managed to use the Apple TV+ app installed on Hisense tv? Without any additional casting devices.
 
So i have this issue over the weekend not sure if my son pressed some button or what is happening

when you go into youtube or netflix you can see the tiles and preview

however when you play there is only sound

no picture

if you go back to the menu the pic shows

anyone else have this issue

Yes you can turn off the picture and have sound only. Press the button with the 3 lines on your remote to switch off audio only

have tried that didnt work cos it wasnt set to audio only

i see it did it on kodi as well

everything is fine until its time to play the picture

a restart works and sorts it out but no idea why its doing that
 
Hi anyone have an idea how I could side load streaming apps to my hisense smart tv model 55k3300uw. It is a older model tv, comes with Netflix, and Showmax preloaded but for some reason the showmax app does not work even though I have an active account. Also the app store does not have other streaming apps. Please advise?

If its not an Android based OS (and I'm guess you have VIDAA), then you're out of luck I'm afraid. You're better off buying an Android TV box and use that instead.
 
I've been wondering: should I buy a 55" Hisense U8G for R12k now or wait for Black Friday in the hopes that the 55" C1 or A1 comes down to R12-14k? It's currently on sale for R17k but I don't know how much further the price will drop, even on Black Friday.

C1 will never come down to that price. And i am pretty sure it is R17k for the 48 not 55.
